As mentioned previously, I changed the front plate and spool of Pflueger Medalist 1492 AK to the parts of 1492 CJ, and changed the reel foot to the product of One-Pfoot.
Besides I transformed shape of the click spring in order to change into the left hand use.
In addition I changed the latch cover to the product of One-Pfoot, and am using it on my handmade pack rod.
There was a time when it was hard to get the after-parts for One-Pfoot,
but the business was taken over from the founder Mr. Bill Franke by Mr. Dan Hill.
After that, it was taken over by Mr. Joe Burg and Ms. Jamie Burg who run a precision machine shop in Akron, NY
so to get them has become easier today.
