April 01, 1970 This is friend's works from the art high school age of Kyoto. She grew up in the home of ceramic artist of Higashiyama Gojo. After it had graduated from the high school, herself also started as a ceramic artist. When several years had passed since it graduated, she gave this to me. I think this is elegant, and a earthenware of gentle atmosphere. This is earthenware made for a green tea, but I am using it from the beginning as a guinomi. Because it is a large type as guinomi, I am using it as cup such as plum wine and wine too. |
