Just before the show is about to start, and the contestants take their positions in opposite corners of the studio, Lauren Alaina and Nigel Lythgoe do a quick waltz and twirl in the aisle. &nbsp; 3. After the rock-themed group number, Pia and Scotty McCreery pat each other on the back for a job well done.&nbsp; &nbsp; 4. While the show takes its first break, James Durbin and Paul McDonald get some meticulous hair primping involving lots of hairspray.&nbsp; &nbsp; 5. Casey Abrams is feeling Constantine&rsquo;s rendition of &ldquo;Unchained Melody&rdquo; and air-drums along. He&rsquo;s also the first to stand for the season 4 finalist.&nbsp; &nbsp; 11. While Gwen Stefani&rsquo;s style segment is shown on the giant video screening, Ray Chew and his band members are quickly shooed off the stage.&nbsp; &nbsp; 12. As Paul, Pia and Scotty get their verdict under the red lights, Jacob Lusk breathes deep knowing his turn is next. &nbsp; 13. When Pia&rsquo;s name is announced, Jennifer looks slightly shaken -- the first of many emotional moments to come on Thursday night.&nbsp; &nbsp; 14. A tween fan of Scotty&rsquo;s named Hadley comes up to meet her idol and is embarrassed to have spelled his name wrong on the sign she made, which read, &ldquo;Scottie is a Hottie.&rdquo; Curiously, on the back she had a second endorsement for Paul. It&#39;s, of course, a false start and stage manager Debbie Williams has to cut the music, to everyone&rsquo;s embarrassment.&nbsp; &nbsp; 18. Little surprise here, Iggy&rsquo;s use of the S word is edited from the broadcast. No doubt plenty of parents with kids in tow wish they could do the same for the live show. James, Haley and Casey, on the other hand, look stoked.&nbsp; &nbsp; 19. Iggy gives Steven Tyler a hug then poses for a photo with Jennifer and Randy before bidding goodbye.&nbsp; &nbsp; 20. It&rsquo;s the last dramatic buildup to elimination and Jacob is first to go back to the couches, where he&rsquo;s embraced by Casey in a massive bear hug.&nbsp; &nbsp; 21. With only Stefano and Pia left standing, it&rsquo;s safe to say most people expect the former to go, so when Pia&rsquo;s name is called, the room literally freezes. Jennifer clasps her hands to her face in disbelief, Steven turns around as if to show his solidarity with the boos coming from the crowd and Randy may have thrown out the F word. For his part, Stefano stands with mouth open until he&rsquo;s reminded to go take his seat. &nbsp; 22. Pia can barely keep it together as her exit video is played. Her mom is also crying hysterically, soon to be joined by Jennifer. Even Marc Anthony looks like he&rsquo;s taking this particular elimination hard.&nbsp; &nbsp; 23. The band stammers through the opening to &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll Stand By You.&rdquo; Randy, appropriately enough, is first to stand for Pia, still stupefied at the situation and throwing his hands in the air, as if to say, &ldquo;I give up, America.&rdquo; &nbsp; 24. As soon as Pia sings her last note, Randy is holding Jennifer&rsquo;s hand and making a bee-line for the stage. Big hugs and words of encouragement are the order of the day, but in between, Pia can hear demands for a recount, or, as one guys screamed, &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll buy your record!&rdquo; &nbsp; 25. But it&#039;s when you start to mock up the ideas in 3-D that most of the development happens and you can see the shapes and silhouettes evolve. That&#039;s the exciting part! <br><br>How did it feel to see your finished collection on the catwalk? <br><br>It&#039;s very rewarding. Of course it&#039;s quite daunting presenting your work to the public having put your heart and soul into it, and you are never really able to step back and enjoy it properly! But I was so lucky that it was received so well. <br><br>Talk me through the materials and fabrics you used?<br><br>I used typical sweatshirt jerseys alongside silks. I wanted to give the hoodies a couture quality, so they are hand embroidered with metallic leaves and hand beaded and embellished. They are worn with full length, voluminous silk dresses to contrast with a more ethereal quality. <br><br>Do you have a favourite piece? <br><br>Possibly the cropped hoodie - this is the first piece I designed and worked on, and where the rest of the collection really stemmed from. It&#039;s very heavily embroidered and embellished across the shoulders, almost wing-like. I think it really represents what the collection is about. <br><br>Were there many late nights and early mornings? <br><br>Everything was done by hand, so it took forever. I think that&#039;s the nature of the industry anyway, and when you are so engrossed in your work you want to put that time and effort in. <br><br>Tell me what was going through your mind when your name was announced and you were called up on stage? <br><br>It was incredibly surreal. I have a vague recollection of my course mates all jumping up and screaming, but apart from that it was all a bit of a blur! I was completed stunned - I was so chuffed just to be able to show my collection at GFW, so to win both the Womenswear Award and the Gold Award was incredible. <br><br>What do you plan to do with your &pound;20,000 prize money? <br><br>I think it&#039;s just the most amazing support to enter the industry with. It means that whatever opportunities come my way, I am now able to pursue which is just invaluable for a graduate. <br><br>Who would you like to see wearing your collection?<br><br>Somebody youthful who encompasses both the strong, powerful and urban qualities of the sportswear, and the ethereal, vulnerable element of the collection. <br><br>Whose style do you admire?<br><br>I have always admired Sarah Jessica Parker. She can look incredibly classic, but also be playful and have fun with fashion. Whatever look she goes for, I think she does it well and always looks incredibly stylish. <br><br>Do you have a favourite designer?<br><br>I admire different people, different seasons. I really love all sorts whether it&#039;s the stunning minimalism of , the richness of or the heritage of . The Sartorialist, Scott Schuman, has joined forces with Brit brand , to find the most stylish of people donning their famous trench coats. <p>The project is in collaboration with &#039;s new website, , and we got our hands on this exclusive behind-the-scenes video...</p><p>The British brand launched their innovative social networking site back in early November, which is a dedication to the trench coat, and all who wear it. </p><p>Fashion blogger Scott Schuman - who goes by the name The Sartorialist - is renowned for his high-fashion street style photography, and was approached by Burberry to put his skills to the test in a hunt for the most stylish of trench coat wearers. </p><p></p><p>&#x2018;My challenge was to find people wearing trench coats, that did it in a great way,&#039; he explains. &#x2018;How they wear it really kind of encapsulates who they are.&#039;</p><p>The project took several months to shoot, and the quest took him all over the world - from Berlin, to New York, to Milan - and you can check out the results for yourself .</p><p>The website also enables users to upload their own pictures, so you can post a photo of yourself for others to comment on, add to favourites, or share with others on the site.</p><p>There are only a few rules, the photo must be portrait, it must be taken outside, and of course, the subject must be wearing a trench. </p><p>Happy snapping!</p><p>Check out the video here, and let us know your thoughts in the comments box below. </p><p><p><p><p> </p><p></p></p>?<p>A stellar front row, indoor snow, the most prestigious venue in London town and a collection we all want right now - what was not to love at Burberry&#039;s autumn/winter 2011 collection at London Fashion Week?<br><br>It was the spectacle that set the style world alight and was streamed live to 30-foot wide screens in Picadilly Circus - as well as on . <br><br>The show attracted a full house with , , , , and Anna Wintour squeezing onto the front row - all wearing Burberry, of course.<br><br>New face of the label, opened the show in a striking tangerine sculpted coat and a dalmation fur hat before changing to a second outfit - a yellow and teal checked short trench and the skinny black flares that soon became the eponymous bottom half for Burberry A/W&#039;11.<br><br><br><br>Burberry&#039;s creative director Christopher Bailey called this season his &#039;Shrimpton Collection&#039; after the model and actress Jean Shrimpton and you can see the swinging 60s influence with nipped-in waists, glamorous fur accents and skin-tight flares.<br><br>Aside from the odd piece in clay and a magnificent moss-coloured tweed fitted suit, Bailey&#039;s latest collection was dominated by primary colours and graphic checks in tweed, wool and chunky knits - giving the sense of a very British heritage with a modern spin.<br><br><br><br><br><br>To a soundtrack of new track, Someone Like You, models sashayed down the runway with a louche elegance, culminating in a finale of bright lights, raptuous applause and simulated snow - all within the confines of the Kensington Gardens marquee. <br><br>A Burberry show is never just a catwalk presentation, it&#039;s an experience. It&#039;s at this point that I start to wonder whether Christopher Bailey knew something I don&#039;t about the weather for 2012&hellip;<br><br>There follows the most exquisitely tailored pencil skirts, wedge boots, oversized collars - a few with fur trims, a hangover from AW&#039;11 - prom dresses with full 50s skirts and nipped-in waists, and a strong bold stripe running through many of the pieces. <br><br><br><br>Bailey combines Burberry heritage with eclectic touches, from heavy, woven, Mexican print coats to tribal, chunky jewellery and adornments. The overall effect is surprising: Feminine and nostalgic yet new and exciting. <br><br>It&#039;s decidedly un-summery for the most part, with teals, plums and sombre greens making up the majority of the palette.
