Comet P/2008 O2 = 2018 P6 (McNaught) G. V. Williams (小惑星センター)の通報によると、8月8.5日UT、Pan-STARRS1チームが Haleakalaの1.8-m反射望遠鏡で観測(リストされた観測者は: J. Bulger, T. Lowe, A. Schultz, と M. Willman)された小惑星状天体と9月6.1日、M.
