Suzuki Cappuccino

Cappuccino here is not a kind of coffee, this Cappuccino is a very small sport car made by Suzuki.The size is a little bit larger than Rover Mini, and the style is very cool, he has a long nose and short deck like old style sports cars.
I've always wanted to have this nice small car for a couples of years. Finally, I got it recently.(But I've wished to have Mazda Miata as well. But Cappuccino wins by his cheaper cost of maintenance.)

Size: Conforms to Japnese K-car regulations. K-car is Japanese special economical class, very cheap tax and insurances ,but the size is regulated to be small and the engine capacity is maximum 660cc (Turbo charged or Super charger system is allowed to use. )

Width 1395mm: Length 3295mm: Heights 1185mm: Weight 690Kg
2 seats, only allowed to 2 persons. All aluminum 660cc turbo charged 'K6' EPI controlled engine. Front engine layout, rear drive, when 2 persons are seated, the weight balance between front section and rear is about 51:49. To realize this good balance, Suzuki used light weight aluminum parts, a hood, lower fenders, roof. Closed, Convertible, Targa top and T-bar roof (4way roof). The fascinating double-wishbone suspension system, both front and rear.

When I drive this car, I am filled with huge fun and satisfaction.

Customized points:
Antenna: The original one is too long to be seen, I considered to be subject to damage. So I exchanged it to the shorter one covered with soft rubber. It looks very nice. The radio sensitivity is so so level. This antenna is made by Cox Speed.
But.....
Later, I changed it again.
Now, the antenna is about 30cm length one.
It is FUBA roof antenna's.

Wheel spacer: Rear tires look a little bit inside from the edge of fenders, so I put spacers on the rear hub. The spacers' thickness is 17mm. This size is very suitable, and looks very nice. The fenders and Tires are on the same surface.These spacers are manufactured by Battleclub.

Recently his tyres worn out, so I had the chance to choose tyres and wheels. At first I thought to exchange tyres only. But gradually, I wanted to exchange tyres and wheels. Finally I got used 'OZ crono' alloy wheels sized 6.5J-15inch Offset40 from the NET. This alloy wheels forced me to buy 195/50-15 over sized tyres.
So he got new shoes!
Looks GREAT!

Recently, Bridgestone starts to sell 175-50-15 sized tyre. I would like to try this next.

Mission Oil: I exchanged mission oil to Sentinel 75W/80 graded oil recently, but this choice was not so good, when the engine is cool, I can not use 2nd gear anyway. In the near future, I will try the other brand oil.

Recently, I exchanged the mission oil to WAKO's RG8090R. Unfortunately, the feeling of shifting gears became worse than Sentinel.

Next time, I should try REDLINE which tetsu-san recommended.

I tried RedLine recently, regret to say, this does not fit to mine.
I think Sentinel is the best to mine at this time.

Front and Rear strut brace bars: I got front and rear strut brace bars recently.

This rear strut brace bar forces me to move jack away. Maybe, this forces me not to put the roofs in the trunk room. Besides I can not take a temporary tire out without removing this bar. So I have to decide that put off the tire or not out of the trunk..

After this installation, I could not find any differences,,,,,Ummm.

HKS muffler: My neighbor automotive parts shop sold this at 50% less from the original price. There was no doubt to buy it, even though it caused me to get up eralier. The correct name is HKS Legal muffler (silencer). What is Legal ?? The legal means it can pass Japanese automotive inspection. These legal ones are being obsolete, because Japanese law for traffic are being loosen recently.

**Ducati Sound System!???**
After putting HKS muffler, I was not satisfied with that sound, too quiet for me. So I tried to put Ducati muffler on my car, as you know, Ducati is motorcycle, so it is not suitable for my car. I happened to get this and found its shape is very suitable to fit. The diameter of the Ducati silencer's in-pipe is about 40mm. Cappuccino's center pipe is 38mm. I already bought a second-hand genuine muffler and used the center part. I cut it and modified to be fit properly.

Willans Safety Harness: This was very difficult to install safety harness. Because of its small space, stays may disturb the movement of seat. But finally I got it.
This is very nice for sporty driving. my body could not move at all.

Recently, I feel a little bit loose, so I want to buy a crutch strap.
