Six months after the Commission's previous report, it appears that the motion picture and electronic game industries have taken a number of significant steps to limit marketing violent R-rated films and M-rated games to children and to provide parents with more information regarding the content of their products. In contrast, the music recording industry has not taken any visible steps with respect to explicit-content labeled music.
