「完全な述辞」についてはCurmeの記述を援用する｡
完全な述辞叙述の動詞[Verbs of complete predication]は、例えば、主辞について何ごとかを叙述する[predicate]。 完全な述辞叙述の動詞は、細部においては補われる必要があることがしばしばであるにしても、表現内容の基本的概観を提示する。その修飾要素のすべてを伴った動詞が完全な述辞[complete predicate]を構成する。
