Entry to the stream
Clear and beautiful stream

blue fish mark --- Japanese Trout or Char inhabit this place.
brown fish mark --- Standing fishing area or Stocked fishing area.

To go to Wanami village, use to Happu road (R421) from Yokaichi intersection point of Meishin expressway, and change to Chigusa road just before Eigenji temple. It is the same way as going to Kozuhata village, and to go to lower part of Shibukawa River, through the village, go on foot one kilometer (about 0.6 miles) on the mountain pass from gate to bridge. Here is entry to the stream. On the way, we can see steep deep gorge and beautiful falls. There is notice saying "March 1993, Oku-Eigenji Plan that Iwanas jump, Yamagami Elementary Schoolchildren, Young group of Eigenji-cho Commerce Society". It show the fact that iwana was stocked at one time but we can hardly find iwana or other trout now, but clear stream and rich nature give enjoyment in going up this stream to us and there are cases that can catch nice condition's trout occasionally.
