| We started from town of Jackson and went eastward along the Gros Ventre river and went past Upper Slide Lake and reached the worst mountain pass
that perhaps I will turn back from there at a glance. There was paradise beyond the worst mountain pass. It was small lake.
28 June, we could watch many Cutthroat trout make an excursion in shallows of the bank. We did cast toward rise of trout as we are ignoring cutthroat trout in sallows.
The hatch change one after another, Mayfly, Caddis and Damsel adult. And we changed fly to match the fly to hatch but we only match the fly to size of hatch.
That day, Adams Parachute that was recommended to fishing guide's Don was almighty.
We could catch cutthroat trout of about 16 or 22 inches. I found that Adams Parachute can match to Damsel fly. It was lucky. When I met with Don afterward I heard that the worst mountain pass became flat now. I was very surprised at the news. |
